there is a quite annoying bug with the 'restore clipboard after pasting', sometimes instead of pasting the dictated text, it instead pastes the previous copied text that was copied before dictation. I think other people have already reported this. It happens often enough that makes you just turn off the 'recover clipboard' feature. This seems to be an issue regarding event order, it seems to 'restore clipboard' before it pastes the dictated text.

I’m going to add a slightly longer delay before restoring the clipboard. It seems that some computers handle this feature without issues, while others don’t. Could you please share your computer specifications?

thanks for such a quick response. well, its a standard windows 11 pc (ver 25H2), not sure if it makes any difference but it has a RTX gpu, +40gb ram and I usually keep multiple things running in parallel (several instances of claude code for instance) … I notice that when the system is busier, this error seems to happen very often … which makes me think it must have something to do with events being triggered out of order when the system is even slightly busier

another bug that seems to have the same cause is end of text being cut before the end of the dictation, which also gets worse when the system is busier … for instance I get my last words being cut out of the transcription quite often, but this one I just wait a couple of seconds before interrupting the speech and its ok

Got it, I’ll look into it to see what’s causing the issue.
