Thank you so much for making the app more mature and developed. I've been using it since the early stage, and it's getting better and better. Adding a typing text input is amazing because it makes launching macros with voice a breeze. We need a simple way to assign a shortcut to each input method, if possible. The selected mode will remain, but the input (paste or type text) will change depending on the shortcut you use.

In my case, I use FastKeys to trigger macros that contain email lists and autofill options related to my work. To trigger them by voice, the shortcut must type text rather than use a paste command.

For example, while responding to an email, if I need to select specific items from a list, I can say, “Open Email Circulation” or “Open email list.” This voice command triggers a shortcut that types the text and then launches the appropriate macro. After selecting the items I need, I want to return to voice-to-text using the paste input option.

The only solution I can currently see is to have one dedicated shortcut key for typing text and another for pasting text. I could then assign these to my mouse or keyboard and switch between the two modes as needed. Or it could be a toggle shortcut key.

I’m using snippets so Blabby can recognize the commands. For example, if I say “email list,” it will recognize the phrase and replace it with ($email list) which is the shortcut set in Fastkeys to launch the macro then it will type the shortcut instead of pasting it.

Another option would be to trigger the snippets directly and, during setup, choose whether each snippet should paste or type text. That could work as well, but I personally prefer the simpler approach of switching between paste and type input modes. Having both options available would be a useful enhancement for all users.

If you need any additional information, please let me know. Keep up the good work 😊

Thank you for sticking around for so long. I appreciate it!

Could you tell me a bit more about your use case for having separate shortcuts for Paste and Type Text? How do you plan to use them, and why do you need to switch between them? I want to better understand the workflow so I can build it around the actual use case.

Thanks for the detailed explanation, I understand the use case much better now, and I’ll see what I can do!
