Text appears if clicked on icon for a fraction of a fraction of a second..

More often than I would like to admit, I end up pressing the wrong icon by mistake. Within a fraction of a second, I notice the mistake and immediately click the icon again. At that point, some random text appears, which then has to be deleted. It would be great if there was a half-second delay before the text is taken seriously.

I might receive some text like this, which is obviously far too long for the fraction of a section that the device was recording.
