Repeated failure to properly fire transcription engine upon shortcut execution

As the title states I press ctrl + space and I see the Blabby icon for a split second as if it was going to work, but no it vanishes and I have tried everything short of full uninstall.

Any titbits of info would be very welcome

    I suspect this is a keyboard issue where Ctrl or Space is firing twice, which would explain the icon flashing and immediately closing. Please try setting the shortcut to a single key only, not a key combo, for example Delete or Home.

    If that doesn’t help, try a full reinstall. In the meantime, I’ll check the on our side to see what’s happening behind the scenes.

      Thanks for that. It's fairly interesting. The update fixed it, so it's all working. But I will definitely have a look at that key combo if that happens in the future.
