Really would like updates not to be automatic

After this last update it keeps making mic volume low for some reason and prompts alerts of “no audio detected” even when it is working ok … I really would like to be able wait to update when I want instead of just jumping to the newest version around … it was working before … just woke up and found out it had auto updated again
