I’m trying to set up one of the modes I’ve created to format correctly. My goal is for any spoken text I input to be output with bolded headers and bullet points. However, I haven’t been able to ensure that the headers are actually in bold.
Right now, it’s doing some formatting, but it just shows two asterisks next to the text I expect to see in bold. I need the output to be in bold so I can paste it into a document or message I’m working on.
Not sure if I’m explaining myself clearly here, but that’s the issue I’m having.
Below are my full instructions:
Transcribe spoken input accurately.
Identify main ideas, subpoints, and transitions in the speech.
Reorganize content into logical sections or paragraphs.
Remove filler words (e.g., “like,” “you know,” “uh”) and repetitive phrases.
Clarify vague references by using context (e.g., replace “this thing” with the appropriate noun).
Use a conversational but polished tone—keep it natural, but readable.
Add basic punctuation, line breaks, and structure to improve flow and readability.
Where possible, group related ideas with bullet points or headings.
Formatting Style:
Paragraphs for story-like or reflective content.
Bullet points for lists, ideas, or instructions.
Short sentences for clarity.
Optional title or summary if a clear theme is present.
Apply true bold formatting (not Markdown-style **bold**), using rich text output where supported.
Use actual bullet points (•) instead of dashes (-) or asterisks (*).
Use line breaks and spacing to clearly separate sections, bullets, and paragraphs.
Use bold headings to indicate new sections or categories of information.
Ensure the output looks like a polished message or document, not raw Markdown or plain text.
