clipboard mixups.

I have been using the desktop version. The Chrome version has always worked well.

I have been finding on the desktop version that frequently Blabby is not inserting the dictated text. Instead, it is inserting the last thing that was on the Windows clipboard. If I check on the toolbar, I can see that the dictation has been captured on the most recent list. However, it's not inserting when I use it. This is happening in multiple programs including Word and Firefox.

Often if I completely restart the program, it will start working again.

I think the behavior starts when I copy something to the clipboard in Windows.

    I have a similar problem. I'll attach a video. This is inside EM Client, but it could be the same issue you're talking about.

      Hey Thomas, thanks so much for the video. I get what's going on now. Recently, we made it so that the app restores your original clipboard so it doesn't mess with your workflow. When you transcribe text, it first copies the transcribed text to the clipboard, pastes it into the focused textbox, and then puts your original clipboard back. Anyway, a new update is coming soon and you'll be able to control this behavior.

    Thanks for the report! To help figure this out, could you let me know:

    • What version of Windows you're using?

    • A bit about your computer (like RAM, processor), and if it's a laptop or desktop?

    Also, when it happens, if you click on one of the recent transcriptions, does it paste the correct text or just whatever was last on your clipboard?
