Adding the GPT-5.3 model to custom modes

The yesterday a new model, GPT-5.2, was released. I’d really like to see this model in the list of options for custom mods.

But if you do add it, please make sure to add the non-reasoning version, because it takes a very long time to think, and overall the cost of the reasoning model for you will be about 5–7 times higher than the non-reasoning one. That’s just not economically reasonable, and for the user, such long reasoning isn’t really desirable either.

    Although, if there’s a way to set up the GPT-5.4 model without the “thinking” feature, it might be better—because over the past week I’ve been testing two models in my work, GPT-5.3 and GPT-5.4, and GPT-5.4 is way better at understanding the prompt and the context.

    It’s like the GPT‑5.3 model is instant by default—like, it doesn’t really think.
