Adding new sound effects
It’d be great to have a few more start and stop recording sound options, because when you use this software every day for several months, launching it a few hundred times, the same sounds really start to get on your nerves. I’d love to be able to change them.

Hey Web! I'm just curious, is the sound annoying because it's long, because it's two-tone, or just because you're tired of hearing the same sound? I'm just trying to understand what different sounds I can add. Also, would you like an option to add your own sounds?

Yeah, I just want to change the sound already, ’cause there are only three options and that’s really not enough. When you’ve heard the same sounds a few thousand times, you start really wanting to swap them out for something else.
No, it’s much better that the sound is two-tone. I mean, there’s a clear signal when the recording starts, and a clear signal when the recording ends. That’s excellent.
As for the idea of adding custom sounds: to me, that feels like overkill. It’s an unnecessary feature that will cost you time to implement. Personally, I doubt anyone will actually upload their own sounds. It’s much easier to just pick something that more or less works for you from the existing sound library.
